Saturday March 10th - Honolulu Festival, will host its friendship gala from 7pm until 9pm at the Hawaii Convention Center. The objective of the Friendship Gala is to promote friendship and international goodwill between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region. Participants are offered unique insight into the cultures of the region through dance, song and regional cuisine by some of Hawaii's most famous chefs and restaurants. read more

Saturday March 31st - Taste of Hawaii in Redlands, will celebrate the university's long-standing connection with our 50th state as five of Honolulu's most renowned celebrity chefs bring their unique recipes and style to Redlands, California. Credited with reinventing and reinterpreting Hawaiian cuisine in the "Euro-Asian" style: Hiroshi Fukui (Hiroshi's Restaurant), Alan Wong (Alan Wong's Restaurants), Troy Terorotua (Troy's REAL Cuisine), and Roy Yamaguchi (owner of 35 Roy's Restaurants) will bring you a dinner feast for the senses. June 4th - Roy and Friends Benefit Dinner, the annual Hawaii Farm Bureau event celebrates its ninth year on Monday, June 4th, 2007 at Roy's Restaurant in Hawaii Kai with a group of well-known chefs and a bevy of beverage vendors. This fund raiser grows ever more popular each and every year. The dinner is especially worthy since it celebrates our local farmers and producers.
